Curriculum
The Aleph Bet Preschool curriculum is unique because of its special blend of secular and Judaic programs. The secular studies are challenging and fun. The activities promote the child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth as well as promoting curiosity and exploration.
Judaic Curriculum
The Judaic curriculum is complete, fun, and enlightening. Each week, the children’s highlight is their Shabbat party. Monthly, the children delight in braiding their own challah. Daily, the children give Tzedakah, say their blessings, and proudly show off their Mitzvah notes to their classmates. Each class has its own Judaic curriculum goals which include the following:
The two-year-olds enjoy learning the Jewish holidays.
The three-year-olds learn the holidays and the aleph/bet.
The four-year-olds learn all the above plus their favorite Bible stories.
Mitzvah Notes
Mitzvah notes are a great way to reinforce good behavior and boost your child's self esteem. They are read during Hebrew group time on Monday through Thursday. Friday Mitzvah notes are special for the Shabbat Abba and Imma. A blank Mitzvah note is provided at the back of your weekly newsletter.
